Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the new V-Strom 800DE of the 2025 year model in India. This bike is now prepared according to OBD-2B norms. And it has been introduced with a new paint scheme, which reflects its power, multi-use capability and adventure spirit. The Delhi ex-showroom price of this adventure bike has been kept at a little more than Rs 10.25 lakh. This bike has been designed to give strong performance from daily riding to difficult roads.
2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE: What’s New
The new V-Strom 800DE is now offered in a new colour option Pearl Tech White, which features blue spoke rims. Apart from this, two existing colour variants are also available – Champion Yellow No.2, which features black panels and blue rims, and Glass Sparkle Black, which features black rims with grey and red graphics. The new colour variants make it even more stylish and attractive.
2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE: Engine Power
The 2025 V-Strom 800DE is powered by a 776cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. This engine produces 83.1 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm. Its 270-degree crankshaft gives it a smooth ride as well as a distinctive V-twin sound. This engine strikes a perfect balance of controlled power at the low end and strong performance at high RPM.

The V-Strom 800DE is offered with many modern features. It gets Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), three different riding modes under Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS), and traction control system. Which also includes a gravel mode for special off-road. It has a bi-directional quick shifter that allows gear shifting without clutch. Apart from this, touring features like two-mode ABS, full-LED lighting setup, 5-inch TFT LCD screen, adjustable windscreen and optional panniers are also available.
2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800DE: Braking, Suspension and Hardware
The bike’s steel frame keeps it stable on straight roads. At the same time, a wheelbase of 1,570 mm, a ground clearance of 220 mm and a seat height of 855 mm make it suitable for off-road riding as well. It has Showa inverted front forks and a mono-shock suspension at the rear.

Which gives 220 mm of travel at both ends. It gets a 21-inch aluminum front rim, wire-spoke wheels and Dunlop TrailMax Mixtour Adventure tires. Which give better grip on bad roads. Its fuel tank is 20 liters, which is great for long rides.

The bike has a 20-litre fuel tank
The Suzuki Suzuki V-Strom 800DE rides on 21/17-inch wire-spoke wheels wrapped in block-pattern tyres. The motorcycle has a 20-litre fuel tank which is big enough for touring. Meanwhile, Showa upside-down forks at the front and a Showa rear monoshock do the suspension duties. The ground clearance and suspension travel are both 220mm.
2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE colour options
The bike is offered in a new colour Pearl Tech White, which now gets blue rims instead of gold, while Glass Sparkle Black and Champion Yellow No. 2 are being offered as before. All other visual elements of this bike remain the same and it also gets a 5-inch TFT display.
What changes in the 2025 Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE
The new Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE has been on sale in India for over a year and the company has recently launched the latest version of its mid-size ADV in the Indian market. Very few changes have been made to this bike for 2025, although the bike is now compliant with OBD-2B emissions regulations and new colour options have been introduced.
