The price of the standard Jeep Compass starts at around Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom). While the starting price of the Sandstorm Edition has been kept at less than Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
What is special in Sandstorm Edition?
In this special edition, many new cosmetic changes have been made in the interior and exterior of the SUV. Apart from this, some additional features have also been added, which make it different from the standard model
Changes in exterior design
The exterior of the Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition has been given a new look. Special edition graphics have been applied on its doors and bonnet, which give it a special look. Apart from this, Sandstorm Edition badging has also been given on this SUV. Due to which this special edition looks clearly different.
New elements in the interior
Some new changes have also been made inside the car. This edition gets new seat covers and special floor mats, which give the interior a new and premium feel.
What’s new in the features?
Several new features have been added to the Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition, including:
- Programmable ambient lighting, which allows the ambiance inside the car to be set as per your choice.
- Front and rear dash cam, allowing video recording while driving.
- All other features are same as the standard Jeep Compass.
Engine and Gearbox
The engine of the Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition remains unchanged. It is powered by the same 2.0-litre Multijet turbo-diesel engine that powers the standard model.
All variants of the Sandstorm Edition come with a two-wheel (2WD) drive system. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The Longitude and Longitude (O) variants also get the option of a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
