Tata Motors has recently launched the Harrier EV. This is also the most powerful electric SUV for the company till date. Not only this, it may also be the most powerful electric car available in the Indian market. Actually, we are saying this because the company recently organized a Quad Day Experience event to promote and show the strength of this car. In this event, along with the offroading of this car, many such feats were also shown which will force you to bite your fingers. Let us tell you that its starting ex-showroom price is Rs 21.49 lakh. At the same time, its range on a single charge is 600Km.
In the event, Tata Harrier EV was offroaded on a rocky road. Also, it was made to climb a steep slope. It was also shown pulling a tank. It was also pulled through muddy and water-filled roads. Not only this, it was also shown jumping. Overall, it performed such feats which may not be easy for an electric car to do. However, in between all this, a 1.5 tonne container was also placed on top of the car to strengthen its chassis or body shell. All these things make it clear that whenever it will be tested in Bharat NCAP, it will be able to achieve a 5-star rating.
Features and Specifications of Tata Harrier EV
The new 540-degree camera function on the EV adds an additional angle to the 360-degree surround view monitor system that also shows what’s underneath the car. This new angle gets activated in the transparent mode which helps the driver tackle off-road terrain as well as navigate through large potholes.

The Harrier EV has become the first electric car in the mass-market segment to feature a dual motor all-wheel-drive setup. It has an electric motor on each axle. Using the boost mode, the Harrier EV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds.
The standard Harrier has only 3 terrain modes i.e. Normal, Rough and Wet. In case of the electric Harrier, Tata Motors has offered a total of 6 multi-terrain modes which include Normal, Mud Ruts, Rock Crawl, Sand, Snow/Grass and Custom mode. These modes change the power delivery, traction control system and throttle response to help the SUV tackle difficult terrains.
Tata Motors has introduced a new 14.5-inch infotainment system with the Harrier EV which is the largest for any Tata car. It is a Neo QLED display made by Samsung which gives customers a sharp and crisp viewing experience.
The Harrier EV has an additional camera mounted on the shark fin antenna. The feed from this camera is displayed on the digital IRVM, giving a clear picture of what is behind the car. It also has a recording function and also works as a dashcam for better safety.
