OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite 5G Review
OnePlus was once considered to be a competitor of Apple. But after business ups and downs in the last few years, OnePlus has entered the mass market. The company has introduced many budget smartphones. One of these smartphones is OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite.
This smartphone comes for Rs 19,999. Let us tell you that the smartphone market below 20,000 is very crowded in India. Meaning most of the smartphones are present in this price point. In such a situation, will OnePlus be able to make its place in this market? So let’s know in today’s review how is the OnPlus Nord CE3 Lite smartphone?
Design
The design of the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite smartphone is very impressive. The back panel looks very premium after being made of plastic, as the phone comes in a glassy finish. OnePlus branding is found in its back itself. Also, two camera cutouts are available in button style.
Three cameras and a flash light have been given in the rear of the phone. While the fingerprint sensor has been given along with the right side power button. USB Type C charging, dual speakers and 3.5mm audio jack are available at the bottom. The SIM tray option is available on the left side along with the volume buttons. Also, AR blast is given at the top. So overall the phone is quite great in terms of design.
In-hand experience
There is no problem in holding the phone. But when you use the phone for a long time, fingerprint marks are visible. In such a situation, it would be better to use the phone with a cover. It would also be good to use the phone with a cover for selfies. The fingerprint sensor in the phone works quite well. The phone comes in two color options Pastel Lime and Chromatic Gray. Currently, I have the Chromatic Gray color option for review.
Display
The phone has a large 6.7-inch IPS LCD display. The phone comes with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate support. Due to which the phone gets long battery life. The phone has some problem while using it in bright sunlight. Its peak brightness is 680 nits. The display comes with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. HDR and 4K support is not provided in it. Despite this, the phone is good because 4K content is very less available in India. Also, the display of the phone is good according to the price point at which the phone comes.
Camera
There are three cameras in the rear of the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite smartphone. Its main camera is 108MP. While two other cameras of 2MP have been given. But why 2MP cameras have been given. I did not understand its meaning. The main camera of the phone is fine. Many times good and detailed photos are clicked from the phone. But sometimes the phone is not able to handle the photo light of the phone well,
due to which the colors fade in the photo. However, the portrait mode of the phone is quite good. While noise is definitely visible during night photography. But still good photos are clicked at night. Apart from this, many other camera features have been given in the phone,
which are best for Vlog makers. Talking about video, 1080 pixel video can be shot from the phone at 30fps. A 16MP camera is given in the front of the phone. The selfie camera makes it so fair that you will lose faith in your own photo. I think the company needs to improve on the camera front.
Performance
The OnePlus Nord CE3 lite has 6nm octacore Snapdragon 695 5G processor support. Believe me, I expected a better chipset than this. The phone works on Android 13 based OxygenOS 13.1 out of the box. The phone comes in 8 GB RAM and 128 and 256 GB storage options. The phone lags slightly during use. The phone is not for heavy gaming. Gaming phone should not be expected in this budget. Yes, but light games can be played on the phone. Lots of pre-installed apps will be available in the phone. The user interface is as good as before. It will get 2 years of Android support and one year of security updates.
Speaker
The phone has dual speaker support. This gives loud and quality voice quality. There is no major problem in the phone during calling and music and video.

Battery
The OnePlus Nord CE3 5G smartphone has a 5000mAh battery. The phone has 67W fast charging support. The phone’s battery can be charged from zero to 80 percent in 30 minutes. If you play games, watch videos and make calls on the phone, then the phone easily lasts for a day, so you are not going to have any problem with the battery.
Connectivity
The phone has 8GB virtual RAM with Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, GPS. The phone has 1TB micro SD card support. If we talk about 5G connectivity, then 12 5G bands have been given in the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite smartphone. The phone comes with waterproof rating IP55.
Our verdict
Talking about OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite 5G, it is not the best smartphone under Rs 20,000. The phone struggles a bit in terms of performance. However, if you want a budget smartphone with OnePlus branding, then this can be a good phone.
