The Oppo A5 Pro 5G was launched in China late last year, and then globally with a different design and slightly altered specifications. The smartphone is set to make its India debut on April 24, as confirmed by Oppo itself. Now, a few days ahead of the launch, its price has been leaked, suggesting that the Oppo A5 Pro 5G will be positioned in the budget segment in India.
Citing industry sources, a report by 91Mobiles Hindi claims that the Oppo A5 Pro 5G will be priced in India starting at Rs 17,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB configuration. At the same time, it will also have an 8GB + 256GB variant, which will be priced at Rs 19,999. The report does not give any other information apart from this.

It appears that the company is bringing the global variant to India, as the Oppo A5 Pro 5G launched in China has a 6000mAh battery. Apart from this, the global variant works on MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, while the Chinese variant includes MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC.
The Oppo A5 Pro 5G sports a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,412 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a dual rear camera unit with a 50-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while the front has a 16-megapixel sensor.
